HOME INSPECTION

Who should have a home inspection? Buyers should be knowledgeable about their investment. A professional inspector can often see things that the untrained eye may miss regarding certain structural aspects of a home.

Sellers  can use a home inspection as a marketing tool.  Buyers often will bargain a home inspection into the contract.  Getting an inspection before hand can help you to have some control over the items that may turn up.

Home Owners  can save money through preventative maintenance.  An inspection can help you to make a prioritized checklist with estimated costs, so you can keep your investment worth its value.

Accepted by the courts as an Expert Witness in the fields of Light Construction and Home Inspection, Ross Gibson offers his expertise and testimony for legal matters concerning residence and business structural soundness, construction defects and/or workmanship.

FULL SERVICE RESTORATION CONTRACTOR

We are a full service restoration contractor.  Ross, being a third generation Master Carpenter, has first hand experience with slate, copper, terne metal, masonry, and other materials involved in professional restoration work.  We have experience in restoring all aspects of historic buildings including both interior and exterior to their original condition while maintaining the appearance of therticular era when they were originally constructed.

Ross restored The Big Elk Chapel in Elkton, Maryland.  Since then, the chapel has been added to the Cecil County Register of historic places.  Click below to see a newspaper article.
